– تشجع المتعلمين على إنتاج اللغة والتحدث بها والتعبير عما يشاهدونه فتكون هناك مساحة واسعة للحوار.

– تقدم معلومات جديدة أثناء التعلم وبذلك نجمع بين الإمتاع والإبداع.

– تنشر روح المرح والدعابة.

– يتعرف من خلالها الطلاب على ثقافة من الثقافات المختلفة أثناء العرض.

– تعطي الفرصة للتخمين والإبداع، وتوسيع مخيلات ومدارك الطلاب.

– يمارس من خلالها الطلاب الحوار عند محاولة التنبؤ والتوقع للأحداث المتبقية من الفيلم.

– تلعب دورًا كبيرًا في تنمية المهارات اللغوية كلها وخاصة المحادثة من خلال طرح الأسئلة والإجابة عنها.

 تجعل الطالب يستدعي المفردات التي درسها ليستخدمها في التعبير عن أفكاره عند التحدث عن الفيلم.

– تزيد مساحة ممارسة الحوارات من خلال محاكاة ما شاهده الطلاب.

– تنمي مهارة الكتابة عندما يكتب الطلاب النهاية المتوقعة مستخدمين ما درسوه من تعبيرات ومفردات وأساليب مناسبة.

 -نستطيع من خلالها مواجهة الفروق الفردية بين الطلاب؛ لأنها تساعد في تنوع أساليب التعلم.

الطريقة والأداء

– يتم اختيار المادة الفيلمية المناسبة لمستوى الطلاب ولا تزيد مدتها عن 30 دقيقة.

– يتم تحضير أوراق بالمفردات والتعابير المستهدفة وتسليمها للطلاب.

– مشاهدة جزء من المادة المعروضة ثم المناقشة حولها وما جاء فيها.

– إكمال المشاهدة وإدارة النقاش بعدها حتى يتم فهم المادة المعروضة وتحليلها.

– قياس مدى فهم الطلاب فيما عرض من خلال اختبار فيه عشرون سؤالا (اختيار من متعدد).

– في النهاية يتم تكريم الفائز الأول في الاختبار.
